Section 63 . 066 of San Bernardino County Code declares all such structures a public nuisance and requires the abatement thereof. The dwelling shall be vacated within 10 DAYS and not reoccupied until written approval is obtained from this Department. The required work must commence within ten ( 10 ) days of receipt of this notice and be completed within thirty ( 30 ) days . If you are unable to comply within the time allowed , please - submit a letter to this office advising us when compliance can be accomplished and an extension will be considered . A permit is required for repair or demolition . Obtain required permit for repair from the Office of Building and Safety . Demolition includes the removal of all resultant debris and backfilling of any sewage disposal system or capping of any connection to a public sewer. Demolition permits are obtained from the Department of Environmental Health Services . If you disagree with the above findings , you may submit a written request for a hearing within ten ( 10 ) days .
