PH-City Council - 18MCA02 Fire Resistant and Fire Hazard Overlay standards CITY OF CHINO HILLS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Chino Hills will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 14000 City Center Drive, to consider Municipal Code Amendment 18MCA02, a proposal to amend Chapter 16.06.160 Fire Resistive Design Requirements, and Chapter 16.22 Fire Hazard Overlay District of the Chino Hills Municipal Code. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a determination has been made that the adoption of the ordinance associated with proposed Municipal Code Amendment No. 18MCA02 is exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) because it consists only of minor revisions and clarifications to existing regulations and specification of procedures related thereto; and consists of actions taken to assure the maintenance, protection and enhancement of the environment. Consequently, the proposed amendment to the Municipal Code is categorically exempt from further CEQA review under Cal. Code Regs.Title 14, §15308(Class 8)which include actions taken by regulatory agencies, as authorized by state or local ordinance, to assure the maintenance, restoration, enhancement, or protection of the environment where the regulatory process involves procedures for protection of the environment.
