A03-62 FOR GEOLOGY AND GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING REVIEW SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF CHINO HILLS AND GOFFMAN, McCORMICK & URBAN, INC. That work is now complete. On October 10, 2006, Council authorized execution of Amendment No. 5 in the amount of $456,460. This Amendment provided for geotechnical services for the New Community Park, Government Center projects, Ring Road, Peyton Drive — Phase I, The Shoppes Soils Import, and other related projects. In lieu of part time coverage, travel charges and inefficiencies for each phase and each project, Staff recommended and Council approved the combining of all the Government Center related projects requiring geotechnical services resulting in a 12% savings to the City, maximizing the onsite geotechnical services by assigning geotechnical staff on a full time basis, and securing 2005 rates for the next 21 months. The total value of the amendment was $456,460. The previous amendment did not include any geotechnical services for the proposed apparking structure. Staff is now requesting that the City Council approve Amendment No. 6 to GMU's Professional Services Agreement to provide the services and testing needed to complete the parking structure development. In addition, there is more geotechnical evaluation required for Peyton Drive — Phase I. The value of the work is $20,500 and $23,500, respectively, bringing the total value of Amendment No. 6 to $44,000.
