BACKGROUND/ANALYSIS: Southern California Edison Company (SCE) owns, operates and maintains the high voltage electrical service up to the primary transformers that supply the necessary power to feed the Government Center and Parking Structure. These facilities, which consist of conduit, wire and transformers, are located within the property owned by the City encompassing the above referenced project. Since this power supply system will remain the property of SCE, easements need to be granted to allow for the maintenance and operation of these facilities.
