FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE PEYTON DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS — PHASE 2A PROJECT RECOMMENDATION: 1. Award a contract to Sandoval Pipeline Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $789,935 for Construction of the Peyton Drive Improvements — Phase 2A project. 2. Authorize staff to issue a "Notice of Award". 3. Authorize staff to accept the performance and payment bonds, proof of insurance, and issue a "Notice to Proceed" upon receipt and acceptance of such. BACKGROUND/ANALYSIS: On April 20, 2010, the City Council approved the plans and specifications for the Peyton Drive Improvements — Phase 2A project.
